Sofia Airport (SOF) Public & Private Bus Transfers

Two Sofia Airport bus lines connect the airport to the city centre. 

Bus Line 84:

• Route: Gen. Gurko Str. –Tzarigradsko shose Blvd. – Christopher Columbus Blvd. – Prodan Tarakchiev Str. – Terminal 2 – Terminal 1
• The reverse route is from Terminal 1, along Christopher Columbus Blvd, towards Gen. Gurko Str
• Bus stops at Orlov Most (Eagles’ Bridge) and Sofia University provide convenient transport connection to the underground and other public bus and trolley services
• Note that bus station in Orlov, by the Pliska Hotel, is the closest the bus comes to Sofia's downtown
• The service operates about every 15 minutes
• The entire journey takes approximately 40 minutes during weekdays, and 30 minutes on weekends and holidays

Bus Line 384:

• Route: Mladost 1, bl.70 – Jerusalem Str – Tzarigradsko shose Blvd. – Christopher Columbus Blvd. – Prodan Tarakchiev Str. – Terminal 1 – Terminal 2
• The reverse route is from Terminal 2, down Christopher Columbus Blvd., along Tzarigradsko shose local lane and Jerusalem Str, towards Mladost 1, bl.70
• The bus operates during morning hours (from Mladost 1 bus stop – from 05:11 to 09:04), and during afternoon and evening hours – from 16:52  to 19:27
• The first stop at Mladost 1 provides convenient transport connection to Mladost 1 underground station
• The entire journey takes approximately 30 minutes, both during weekdays and weekends

You can buy a ticket at the window in Sofia Airport, or from the ticket vending machine in Terminal 1 Arrivals. Expect to have to buy an extra ticket for your luggage, if it is large.
