Mexico City Airport train service is available.

The Mexico City Airport Metro (subway) station is located within an easy walking distance of the baggage claim area.  The Mexico City Airport train is a cheap and efficient service (preferably when travelling lightly), but can be crowded at rush hour. To reach the Mexico City Airport train station, marked with a "M" sign, turn left out of the terminal and walk past the car park; the airport metro station is on line 5. For central Mexico City, change at Pantitlan (one stop) for line 1 and travel to Insurgentes. Tickets can be bought at the Mexico City Airport train station.

If taking the train to the Mexico City Airport, get off at the station "Terminal Aerea" and NOT "Aeropuerto".

Tip: a great alternative to the Metro is the Metrobus - see the Bus page     for details.
