By far and away the fastest way of getting from central London to
Heathrow airport, or vice versa, is to take the Heathrow express. Trains run every 15 minutes between 05:10 and 23:25 from Paddington Station, and between 05:07 and 23:42 from Heathrow. The journey between the two locations takes a mere 15 minutes.
This choice of transport is comfortable and modern and comes highly recommended by IHateTaxis.com team members. On board there is free WiFi access, and you can watch TV and even use your mobile phone while travelling through the tunnels. For people wanting a bit of peace there are Quiet Zones in each of the carriages. There is plenty of luggage space as well, so overall the Heathrow Express is a great transport option to and from the airport.
The Heathrow Express runs from Heathrow Central for terminals 1 and 3 and from terminal 5 and you
can find out more on the Heathrow Train page. If you need to get to or from Terminal 4 you can take the free Heathrow Express Shuttle. Paddington Station connects the Heathrow Express to the South and West of England or you can connect to the Underground for access to London.
